Terms of use

Straightforward rules for ordinary profile lookups and responsible platform use.

Acceptance and service description

By using MCIdentity you agree to these draft terms. The service validates a Java Edition username or UUID and presents available public provider data and MCIdentity observations.

Permitted use

You may perform ordinary manual lookups, share profile links and use displayed public details for lawful purposes.

Prohibited use

Do not perform automated mass enumeration, scrape MCIdentity, evade rate limits, abuse API or texture endpoints, attack the platform, probe systems without authorization, interfere with other users, or use data for harassment, doxing or unlawful profiling.

Rate limits and blocking

Reasonable technical limits protect MCIdentity and upstream providers. Access that is abusive, automated or disruptive may be delayed or blocked. Attempts to bypass controls can result in termination of access.

Completeness and third-party providers

Data can be incomplete, cached, delayed or unavailable. Name dates can represent observations rather than exact changes. Third-party services may change their output or availability without notice.

Intellectual property

The MCIdentity interface and original materials belong to its operator. Minecraft-related marks, player textures and third-party material remain subject to their respective owners’ rights.

User-submitted reports

Reports must be accurate and submitted in good faith. A report can be retained for review and abuse prevention. Submission does not guarantee removal or an immediate change.

Availability and maintenance

The service may be updated, limited or temporarily unavailable for maintenance, security or provider issues. Features and cache periods can change as the platform develops.

Reasonable limitation

MCIdentity is an informational lookup tool and is not intended as proof of legal identity, ownership or account control. To the extent permitted in the applicable context, the operator is not responsible for decisions made solely from incomplete public profile data.

Changes, governing context and contact

These terms may be revised with a new publication date. Applicable mandatory law remains unaffected. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
